This course is open to clinicians (GPNs / AHPs / NAs) and will provide an introduction to contraception for those staff starting out in women’s health or CASH consultations within a Primary Care setting.

Our expert speakers will introduce the contraception consultation, before exploring contraception choices and guidance to support the decision making.  There will be focus on the history taking processes before moving on to discuss Pill choices and UKMEC guidance. LARC options and emergency contraception will also be explored; supporting the patient with their decision making and giving the clinician the confidence to manage the episode of care.
